Mark Santers

Mark Santers is a Canadian drummer, percussionist and vocalist best known as the drummer for the Canadian rock group SANTERS.

After learning piano at an early age, experiencing the drum battle between Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa proved too much to resist, and Mark moved over to the drums.

Some of the drummers who have been an inspiration to Mark through the years include John Bonham, Ian Paice, Cozy Powell, Bill Bruford, Jack Dejohnette and Buddy Rich.

Mark plays a Drum Workshop “Collector Series” kit as well as a 1959 Ludwig “Downbeat” kit with both Paiste and Zildjian cymbals.
