Rick Lazaroff

Rick Lazaroff is a Canadian musician, best known as bassist for the Canadian hard rock group SANTERS.

As a child, Rick was given an unprecedented view of jazz artists and jazz music through his father, Alex Lazaroff, who was a prominent Canadian jazz musician with a career spanning more than half a century. 

In the summer of 1979, Rick Lazaroff joined up with Rick and Mark Santers to form The Rick Santers Band which later became known as SANTERS. 

Rick has been inspired by the likes of Jaco Pastorias, Miroslav Vitous, Jack Bruce and Jeff Berlin.

Rick plays a Fender Jazz bass.
